SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 15 – John Jensen
Strohbusch is charged with
Attempted Inducement of a
Minor to Engage in Sexual
Activity.
On January 14, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Andrew L. Carter held a status
conference. Inner City Press
covered it.
The goal
was to set a trial date.
Strohbusch's counsel said she
had a trial before Judge Ross
in the Eastern District, and a
re-trial (which Inner City
Press is also covering) before
Judge Furman in SDNY.
Strohbusch's case has been
bouncing around since 2018,
with the government requesting
continuances such as in
December 2018 and in April
2019.
His conditions of
bail were modified in March
2021. He traveled home for
Christmas. Now, there will be
a trial, albeit delayed.
The case is US v.
Strohbusch, 19-cr-309
(Carter)
