SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 14 – Pedro Reynoso wrote
to U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Denise L. Cote and said
he is being pressed to plead
guilty.
Judge Cote put
the handwritten letter into
the public docket, and
questioned the lawyer. The
letter starts, Good morning
Ms. Cote... My lawyer is
trying to force me to plea
guilty of a crime I did not
commit. I am praying for you
response to my cry for help,
in the meanwhile have a good
day and may God bless
you."
The charge
is kidnapping and kidnapping
conspiracy.
