SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 25 – After
an administrative proceeding
against the NYC Board of
Education in the name of
pseudonymous student A.M., a
lawsuit was filed to collect
attorney's
fees.
On July 23, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Alvin K. Hellerstein held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Hellerstein asked about
delay in the case. The
plaintiff lawyer said that the
parent had gone missing.
Prosecute or dismiss, Judge
Hellerstein said, setting a
deadline for billing records.
