SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 22 – Christopher Smith
says while at Bosley Hair
Restoration he was held down
as his "hair graph [sic] were
removed... Bosley has created
a violent and racist place."
On December 22,
2020 U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge John G. Koeltl held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Smith's complaint
said that Bosley "puts the
public at risk, most notably
men of African descent. They
made me sign contracts stating
the procedure does not work
good with black hair. If so,
they are committing fraud by
stating it does publicly but
make you sign a waiver."
Judge
Koeltl said the parties should
file a joint status letter by
December 29, and the defendant
move under 12(c) if it is
going to, by January 15.
The case is Smith
v. Bosley Hair Restoration,
20-cv-8489 (Koeltl)
