SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 28 – Goldman Sachs has
been sued for, what else,
mortgage securities
fraud.
On
February 26, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Alison J. Nathan held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
It turns out
Goldman Sachs is contesting
the use of transcripts of its
officials in other cases in
this case. It will be slow,
with fact discovery open until
May 26, 2020.
The docket says
expert discovery runs to
December 22, 2023 (probably a
typo for 2022). Still, the
wheels of this predatory
lending justice are slow.
The case is U.S.
Bank National Association v.
Goldman Sachs Mortgage Company
et al., 19-cv-2305 (Nathan)
