April 8 – HNW Family Office AG
sued Art Assure Ltd for
$607,000.
On April 8,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Edgardo Ramos held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The complaint
delicately refers to "certain
improprieties committed by
Defendant," and to the work of
art "Zejtun (Malta Series #8)
1983 by Frank Stella."
Judge Ramos
on April 8 vacated a default
judgment order, on the theory
that in the Second Circuit
adjudication on the merits is
preferred.
He ordered the
parties to submit a discovery
schedule.
