SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 7 – Boris Teichmann
sued NYCERS, the NYC
Employees' Retirement System
for denying his retroactive
disability pension benefit
payment.
On January 12, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lorna G. Schofield held a
conference. Inner City Press
covered it.
Teichmann
did not show up. Judge
Schofield went on the record
to direct NYCERS lawyer to
file a pre-motion (to dismiss)
letter and said she will then
set another conference, to
tell Teichmann what he needs
to do to respond and keep his
lawsuit alive.
The case is
Teichmann v. New York City
Employees' Retirement System,
21-cv-5082 (Schofield)
