SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 6 – Peggy Zoulas was
teaching at P.S. 34K in
Brooklyn when professional
development classes were
offered to her younger
colleagues but not her. She
sued.
On October 6 U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Gregory H. Woods held a
telephone proceeding. Inner
City Press covered it.
Judge Woods told Zoulas to not
send emails to his Chambers,
but rather use the pro se
office - now that Cravath
Swaine & Moore has dropped
her, or "withdrawn their
Limited Appearance" - to file
in ECF.
Ironically,
another woman before Judge
Woods, FinCEN files leaker
Natalie Mayflower Sours
Edwards, by filing her
submissions only by email has
managed so far to have to kept
entirely confidential.
Midway
through the conference a
litigant in the next case
called in and said,
"Hello?"
Judge Woods said
it was like a person walking
into his courtroom and
disrupting an ongoing
proceeding down in the well.
Then he said he
had to run to the 26th floor
courtroom for his jury trial.
Inner City Press followed,
here.
This case is
Zoulas v. Department of
Education et al., 18-cv-2718
(Woods)
