SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 17 – Joel Cabrera has been
facing a drugs and gun trial
to start February 24.
On
February 12, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Denise L. Cote held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The push
for the trial is still on, now
with the new SDNY order of
double masking or an N95 mask,
"Bandanas, gaiters and masks
with valves are not
permitted."
Also on February
17, another change of plea,
but Vladimir Reyes. Only
recently the government
opposed his motions in limine,
saying that Evidence of 46
pounds of marijuana and a red
Jeep on May 13, 2019 must come
in. Then the plea.
[Inner City Press
covered an in-person
sentencing on February 17 in
another case, by Judge Jed S.
Rakoff, here.]
The case is
USA v. Reynoso-Hiciano et al.,
20-cr-388 (Cote)
