SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 17 – Jean Robert
Zephir was driving by 1125
Bronx River Avenue on July 11,
2019 when his vehicle was hit
by another owned by Altec
Industries. He sued.
On
February 17, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Jesse M. Furman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Only the day
before, Judge Furman ruled
that Citibank is not entitled
to get back $500 million it
erroneously wire transferred.
Now, the car crash. Discovery,
he said, must end by July 19.
There has yet to
be a demand; Judge Furman said
one could be made by April 2,
with a pre-trial conference on
July 28.
The case is
Zephir v. Altec Industries,
Inc. et al., 21-cv-595
(Furman)
