SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 10 – Joey Hernandez was
sentenced to 18 months in
prison on 2017. On June 11,
2021 he was arrested on a
violation of supervised
release.
On
August 10, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Vernon S.
Broderick held a VOSR
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Broderick reappointed
Hernandez' CJA counsel, who in
turn said that marijuana is a
problem for his client.
Judge Broderick
added drug treatment to the
conditions - and told
Hernandez that even if he
thinks he will fail a drug
test he should appear and take
it. Skipping it is worse,
Judge Broderick said.
The case is USA
v. Hernandez, 17-cr-84
(Broderick)
