SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 13 – Sean
Waraich sued National
Australia Bank and the CFTC
Reparations Program for
keeping his
money.
On February 11, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Andrew L. Carter held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
In
January, Judge Carter
dismissed Waraich's complaint
for lack of jurisdiction.
Then NAB moved
for sanctions. On
February 11 Judge Carter said
the sanctions motion is not
ripe given that Waraich, pro
se, has appealed.
The case is
Waraich v. National Australia
Bank Ltd. et al., 21-cv-5220
(Carter)
