SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 29 – Rajan Nabe runs a
small Shell gas station at 117
Morningside Avenue in
Manhattan. Threatened with the
loss of his franchise, he
sued.
On
December 29 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
John G. Koeltl held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Nabe had
filed for a Temporary
Restraining Order, citing 15
USC 2805 of the Petroleum
Marketing Practices Act. His
memorandum of law is replete
with case against Texaco and
Mobil, Amoco and Shell.
Judge
Koeltl said that at TRO could
only run for 14 days, unless
the defends agreed to have it
run until January 26, pending
arguments for a longer
preliminary injunction. The
defendants agreed.
The case is Case
v. Jericho Wholesale LLC et
al., 20-cv-10784 (Koeltl)
