SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 13 – Tony Tartt was
charged as a felon in
possession of Winchester 9-mm
Luger ammunition for firing at
others from six feet
away.
On January 13, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lorna G. Schofield held his
sentencing. Inner City Press
covered it.
The ASUA and Probation
recommended 77 months.
Tartt's lawyer,
citing COVID in the prisons,
urged a range from 28 to 36.
Judge Schofield noted the
defendant's daughter and that
he was getting to an age to
know better.
She sentenced
Tartt to 41 months, to be
followed by three years of
supervised release.
The case is
US v. Tartt, 20-cr-339
(Schofield)
