SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 29 – Star Magic sued
Tangle, Inc. for harming its
business with Amazon. It is,
of course, more
complicated.
On April 29, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Edgardo Ramos held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Star
Magic's Shlomo Ayal opposed a
request by his lawyers to
withdraw for lack of payment.
He told Judge Ramos that he
had not understood how much it
would cost.
Judge Ramos
granted the motion to
withdraw, and gave Ayal a
month to find another lawyer.
Tangle's
lawyer spoke and said Star
Magic tried to steal their
trademarks with Amazon and it
was now reversed. They opposed
any stay of the case, saying
the the individual defendants
want to clear their name. So
it's on the clock: one month.
The case is Star
Magic, Inc. v. Zawitz et al.,
21-cv-917 (Ramos)
