SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 16 – The Charter Oak Fire
Insurance Company sued AXIS
Insurance Company to indemnify
Brookfield Properties One WFC
Co. in connection with a
construction accident at 200
Liberty Street in lower
Manhattan.
On June 15,
2022 U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Magistrate Judge Sarah L.
Cave held a proceeding. Inner
City Press covered it.
The
insurers, they said, were near
final settlement. Judge Cave
congratulated them and gave
them until July 15 to file
either a notice of dismissal
or a status report on the
finalization of the parties'
resolution.
The case is, or
was, The Charter Oak Fire
Insurance Company v. AXIS
Insurance Company, 21-cv-10246
