SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 1 – Jariel Alexander sued
Private Protective Services,
Inc. for abusing and
humiliating him when he went
to a "Love and Hip-Hop NY"
shoot on Pier 132 in The Bronx
on October 3, 2019.
On August
31, 2022 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Magistrate
Judge Stuart D. Aaron held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Alexander
agreed to provide supplemental
written discovery, but said
this should mean he does not
have to be deposed.
Judge Aaron
disagreed, politely, and told
him that if he is not deposed,
he may recommend that the case
be dismissed.
The deposition is
to take place on or before
October 14, by video. NYLAG is
listed in the order.
The case is
Alexander v. Private
Protective Services, Inc.,
19-cv-10004 (Oetken /
Aaron)
