SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 17 – Hasani John is
charged with being a felon in
possession of a firearm. The
complaint describes a
shoot-out in a Bronx car
dealership.
On March
17, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Denise L. Cote held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
John pleaded not
guilty. Discovery is due April
2, and any defense motions by
October 1.
A trial date is
set for December 6 and time
excluded under the Speedy
Trial Act until then.
