SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 22 – Oanh Nguyen filed an
age discrimination claim
against First Eagle Investment
Management and a number of
individual
defendants.
On November
20, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Paul A. Engelmayer
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge
Engelmayer to his credit
disclosed that he is
personally acquainted with one
of the individual defendants -
and determined to recuse
himself.
He nevertheless
asked if the parties want a
referral to a Magistrate
Judge, before District Judge
2.0.
He complimented
counsel for their collegial
approach.
The case is
Nguyen v. First Eagle
Investment Management, LLC et
al., 20-cv-5810 (Engelmayer)
