Bribee Guzzone Pleads Guilty Says He Paid for
Super Bowl Tix

SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 29 – On the afternoon of
September 28, Audrey Strauss,
Acting United States Attorney
for the Southern District of
New York, announced that
"ANTHONY GUZZONE, a former
Director of Global
Construction at Bloomberg, LLC
(“Bloomberg”), pled guilty
today to charges of evading
taxes on more than $1.45
million in bribes he received
from building
sub-contractors."
Not
included in the press release
was something that emerged
during the change of plea
proceeding before SDNY Judge
Lewis J. Liman, which Inner
City Press covered.
The
Information said the Guzzone
was paid bribes in the form of
"Super Bowl ticket
packages."
But Guzzone says
he paid for those tickets.
Judge Liman said this case be
addressed at sentencing, now
set for January 7.

Guzzone, 20-cr-00354 (Liman)
