SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 30 – Philip Santiago is
charged with being a felon in
possession of ammunition, to
wit, .25 millimeter shell
casings.
On March 30, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Alison J. Nathan held a change
of plea proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
There was some
disagreement as to who had
been responsible for filing
the waiver of physical
presence with the court.
Santiago
had gotten a stipulated
guideline range of 46 to 57
months. He spoke for
himself, of his four siblings,
and wanted to get out and
mentor then.
The
sentencing was set for July 8.
The case is
US v. Santiago, 20-cr-528
(Nathan)
