SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 24 – Joel Austin is
charged with violating the
terms of his supervised
release by allegedly selling
drugs on August 7 on St.
Nicholas Avenue in Harlem.
On October
23 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Jed S. Rakoff held an
oral argument. Inner City
Press covered it.
The US Attorney's
Office described NYPD Officer
Randys Ramos Luna observing
Austin selling crack on August
1, to one Rhina Rosario who
immediately gave Austin
up.
Federal
Defenders disagree, but for
now their argument is not in
the docket.
The case is USA
v. Austin, 06-cr-991 (Rakoff)
