SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 19 – Ward Oles sued
the City of New York for its
fines and imprisonment for
failure to remove all but
front seats in commercial
vehicles.
On January 19, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lorna G. Schofield held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Schofield mused that
this might be a case of
principle, that is, one that
might not settle.
But she was told
that settlement might be
possible. She set deadlines in
February.
The case is Oles
et al v. City Of New York et
al., 21-cv-9393 (Schofield)
