SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 16 – Leo Hernandez was
indicted as part of a
conspiracy to distribute
oxycodone.
After the
indictment, he went to and
stayed in Colombia. When he
was arrested there, he
pretended to be an FBI agent.
On
November 16, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Richard Mr. Berman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Hernandez'
lawyer has argued that his
brother works for the NYC
Bureau of Fraud
Investigations.
Still and all, he
was not released. The next
conference, which may be
adjourned, is for now set for
November 18.
The case is
US v. Hernandez, 20-cr-79
(Berman)
