Marcano-Pena was charged with
money laundering
offenses.
On August 24 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Vernon S. Broderick held a
change of plea proceeding.

Marcano-Pena when
asked said she had NOT
discussed the immigration
consequences of her plea. She
asked for clarifications and
got them. Eventually she
allocuted.
