SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 8 – COSCO Shipping was
contracted to transport 482
touchscreen computer monitors
from Keelung, Taiwan to Tampa,
Florida in November 2019. But
they arrived water
damaged.
On December 8 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Valerie E. Caproni held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
It
was specified that the
monitors were salt water
damaged.
There may be more
claims: Judge Caproni set out
a procedures for filing
related case forms. The next
court date is February 5,
2021.
The case is
Hartford Fire Insurance Co. v.
Cosco Shipping Lines, Co.,
Ltd. et al., 20-cv-7171
