SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 18 – Analisa Viera left
her son A.V. with his father,
who went out drinking and left
the child. The child was taken
by ACS, and Viera sued.
On July 15,
2022 U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Magistrate Judge Sarah L.
Cave held a proceeding. Inner
City Press covered it.
There was a
confidential settlement
conference on June 30 which
was not successful.
On July 15 Judge
Cave ordered that plaintiffs'
counsel should provide the
defense with billing records,
with another conference set
for August 3 at noon.
The case is
Vieira v. Headley et al.,
21-cv-648 (Crotty / Cave)
