SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 18 – Hamidur Rahman sued
two Limani restaurants, in
Roslyn and Rockefeller Plaza,
for failure to pay overtime
and minimum wage.
On April 16, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Alison J. Nathan held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Nathan, in the midst of
releasing a series of orders
in her Ghislaine Maxwell
criminal case, inquired into
this FLSA case, as to each
restaurant.
She said she
would enter the proposed case
management plan, with time
lines longer than she usually
signs off on.
The case is
Rahman v. Limani 51, LLC et
al., 20-cv-6708 (Nathan)
