SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 15 – Richard
Lebron filed a lawsuit for
mistreatment of his kidney
disease while incarcerated on
Rikers Island. He is now in
Elmira.
On
August 13, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Mary Kay
Vyskocil held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered it.
Judge
Vyskocil told Lebron to be sue
to sign the medical releases
by Monday.
She set a date
for him to be deposed, in
October.
The weather is
still good, he mused, for the
defense lawyer to drive up
here. He is in Elmira.
The case is
Lebron v. Ramos, 19-cv-2598
(Vyskocil)
