SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 27 – Moses Hollender sued
American Express and Experian
(and Fifth Third Bank f/k/a MB
Financial Bank) for violating
the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Now they want to
settle.
On October 27 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Gregory H. Woods held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Woods
said it was a problem,
thinking you could re-open a
case if it is dismissed.
A solution was
arrived at and agreed to: to
dismiss without prejudice to
refiling and starting again.
And so it will be.
The case is, or
was, Hollender v. Experian
Information Solutions, Inc. et
al., 20-cv-5100 (Woods)
