SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 4 – Alexander Dorosh
sued Long Island Railroad,
where as an employee on March
20, 2019 he stepped down from
the rear of a truck without
three-point contact and
injured his left
arm.
On October 2,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Liman
at first was happy to be told
"we're done." But that only
meant discovery, not the case.
The defendant
LIRR said in this case, they
don't even want an IME. Judge
Liman said, fine, let's set it
down for trial.
The case is
Dorosh v. Long Island Railroad
Company, 19-cv-10484 (Liman)
