SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 20 – Jie Weng sued New
Shanghai Deluxe Corporation
for not paying overtime or
minimum wage.
On May 20,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Edgardo Ramos held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
plaintiffs want to add more
defendants.
Their lawyer said
if the request is denied,
they'll just file a parallel
case in state court. Judge
Ramos directed filings in a
week.
The case is Weng
et al v. New Shanghai Deluxe
Corp et al., 19-cv-9596
(Ramos)
