SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 3 – Office Solution Group
sued National Fire Insurance
Company of Hartford to collect
on insurance for losses after
it closed its doors to
business amid COVID-19 on
March 16.
On November 2, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Gregory H. Woods held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The insurer
says the policy is limited to
"direct physical loss of or
damage to" property.
Facing an
expressed desire to move,
Office Solution Group is
getting until November 23 to
file an amended complaint.
The rest is
adjourned sine die.
The case is
Office Solution Group, LLC v.
National Fire Insurance
Company of Hartford,
20-cv-4736 (Woods)
