SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 20 – Charles Figueroa was
arrested on May 15, 2019 with
a loaded gun in the parking
lot of a Wendy's in The Bronx.
On July 20 U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Lewis A. Kaplan held his
sentencing. Inner City Press
covered it.
AUSA Brett
Kalikow said three of the ten
round of ammo in the gun were
Privi Partizan cartidges, from
Serbia. He asked for ten to
sixteen months. In his
sentencing submission is a
photograph of an arsenal of
automatic weapons.
Ultimately Judge
Kaplan sentenced Figueroa to
sixteen months, with a search
condition when he gets out.
A fine of
$5,500 was also imposed, to be
paid in monthly installments
of $100 per month. The case is
US v. Figueroa, 19-cr-509
(Kaplan).
