SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 2 – In September 2009
Felix Bruno was arrested, and
later convicted and pled
guilty, for selling crack and
using a Bauer .25 caliber
semi-automatic pistol with the
series number filed off.
Bruno's then-lawyer Lawrence
DiGiansante asked for
postponements "due to an
extended homocide trail."
Eventual U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Loretta A.
Preska sentenced Bruno to
sixty three months.
On January
2, 2020 Bruno appeared again
in the SDNY, this time in
Magistrates Court for alleged
Violation of Supervised
Release. He will be going back
in front of Judge Preska on
January 6, with a new CJA
lawyer.
No bail was
requested on January 2 of SDNY
Magistrate Judge Stewart D.
Aaron, as Bruno is in state
custody. In the docket, the
transcripts are not live
links, and there are no
sentencing submissions. The
case is US v. Bruno,
08-cr-1060 (Preska).
