SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 14 – Jeffrey Casiano is in
detention in New Jersey, with
a series of supervised release
conferences in New
York.
On December 14, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Judge Richard M. Berman held a
VOSR proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Back on
November 1, Casiano's counsel
had told Judge Berman "the
case is still pending in
Newark, but my understanding
is that there will be a bail
application filed
yesterday."
Six weeks
later on December 14, the bail
application had yet to be
filed. So the VOSR proceeding
was put back to February 15.
The case is US v.
Casiano, 16-cr-177 (Berman)
