SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 24 – Christine Barnes, a
former employee of the US Drug
Enforcement Administration who
self-identifies as Hispanic,
sued Merrick Garland and the
DEA for discrimination.
On July 21,
2022 U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Magistrate Judge Sarah L.
Cave held a proceeding. Inner
City Press covered it.
Barnes'
complain describes he
coordinating with an
investigator of the Saratoga
Police Department to present a
criminal, counterfeit drug
overseas case.
Judge Cave
said that fact discovery
should be completed by
November 22, with another
conference set for October 19
at 3 pm.
