SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 5 – A resident of Upper
Manhattan has sued saying she
"was placed on a 'no services
list' which prohibited her
from attaining police services
of any kind."
On November 5 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Katherine Polk Failla held a
proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge
Failla to her credit asked the
City's lawyer, point blank,
whether a No Service List
exists. No, was the answer.
She asked what
databases the NYPD and DA's
office use. The answers were
less clear.
The case is Price
v. Simmons et al., 15-cv-5871
(Failla)
