SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 24 – Esra Ozer was
employed by Howmet Aerospace
but was discriminated against
due to age and gender, and
discriminated against, she
says. She sued.
On October 22 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Alvin K. Hellerstein held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
A request
was made to extended discovery
until the end of the year.
Judge Hellerstein granted it,
but said that is "not
adjournable."
He ordered the
parties to meet for two hours
on January 6, then to appear
before him on January 14.
The case is Ozer
v. Howmet Aerospace, Inc.,
20-cv-5638 (Hellerstein)
