SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 27 – Bank of China, New
York Branch and its Chief
Lending Officer Raymond L.
Qiao pressured borrower Paul
V. Profeta to personally
guarantee an already issued
loan. Litigation
ensued.
On October 27 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Sidney H. Stein held a
proceed. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Stein inquired into the status
of the related New Jersey
litigation.
Then he continued
the stay of this Federal case,
requesting status reports in
January and June 2022, and to
be notified of any material
events.
The case is LVP
Associates L.L.C. et al v.
Bank of China, New York
Branch, 17-cv-5274 (Stein)
