SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 28 – Carbamericas sued
MSC Mediterranean Shipping
Company over two shipments of
mangoes carried by ocean
carriage from Peru to the
US.
On March 26, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge P. Kevin Castel held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The mangoes were
bound for Philadelphia, but
arrived damaged due to
prolonged temperature
deviations from the ten
degrees Celsius provided for
in the contract.
The two
counsel said they have other
cases and can probably work
this one out.
The case is
Carbamericas, Inc. v. MSC
Mediterranean Shipping Company
S.A., 21-cv-101 (Castel)
