SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 25 – Leonardo
Andujar was charged with, and
pled guilty to, conspiracy to
distribute 400 grams and more
of fentanyl, for he had
traveled to Lawrence,
Massachusetts.
On January
25, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Analisa Torres held
a sentencing proceeding. Inner
City Press covered it.
The US
Attorney's Office wrote in
that "a sentence below the
stipulated guidelines range is
adequate."
Ultimately Judge
Torres imposed a sentence of
time served - but immediate
deportation to the Dominican
Republic under 8 USC 1228(c).
The overall case
is US v. Arias Casilla, et
al., 21-cr-218 (Torres)
