SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 19 – For being harassed
by MTA police while visiting
her friend who works in Penn
Station, Primyah Godial Miaa
Paynes El Bey sued the City
and officers.
On August
19, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge
Vyskocil corrected an error in
the docket and permitted the
plaintiff to add the MTA to
the complaint, and to correct
the spelling of her name to
Quee'Prinyah Godiah Nmiaa
Payne's El Bey.
The case is El
Bey v. Crocillo et al.,
20-cv-524 (Vyskocil)
