SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 21 – Julio Cesar Prado
while in pre-trial detention
has been having nightmares, he
says.
On
December 21, 2020 U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Valerie E. Caproni held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
On the charge of
illegal reentry, Prado pleaded
guilty.
Judge Caproni
asked him if he had any status
in the United States. After
first asking what that meant,
Prado replied, No,
illegal.
Judge
Caproni said there would be
supervised release, but it
almost certainly wouldn't be
an issue, because he would be
deported. The sentencing was
set for April 1.
The case is US v.
Prado, 20-cr-506 (Caproni)
