SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 18 – Vladimir Reyes
pleaded guilty to working with
a co-defendant to swindle
another out of a kilo of
cocaine valued at
$34,000.
On May 18, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Denise L. Cote
held a sentencing proceeding.
Inner City Press covered it.
Judge Cote
asked about forfeiture -
should it be $34,000, or the
lesser amount that Reyes said
he put in play? The question
remains.
On sentencing,
Judge Cote sentenced Reyes to
46 months in prison, to be
followed by four years of
supervised release.
The case is US v.
Reyes, 20-cr-388 (Cote)
