SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 1 – ClassPass has been
sued for including in the
offerings on its app Tipsy
Nail Club LLC, without the
latter's
consent.
On March 1, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Analisa Torres held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
ClassPass
calls itself "the app for all
things fitness, spa and
beauty."
New Jersey-based
Tipsy Nail Club never signed
up, but found itself listed on
the app. ClassPass
was given until April 11 to
move to dismiss, and May 16 to
reply.
The case is Tipsy
Nail Club LLC v. ClassPass
Inc. et al., 21-cv-8662
(Torres)
