SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 26 – In a multi-defendant
Medicaid fraud case, Inna
Gekelman is the last
defendant.
On July 26, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
John P. Cronan held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Cronan inquired into the
status of discovery.
The Assistant US
Attorney said there is
pole-cam video of the medical
facility, and also footage of
at least two of the no-show
patients' homes.
On September 23,
2022 amid many guilty pleas in
the case, Marianna Levin asked
to adjourn her sentencing from
October 27 into 2023.
The overall case
is US v. Levin, et al.,
20-cr-681 (Cronan)
