SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 28 – Many cases were
filed against Nurture, Inc., a
self-described source of
organic baby food, for having
heavy metals in its
products.
On August 27 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Mary Kay Vyskocil held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Nurture
wanted a change in the caption
from "In Re Nuture Heavy
Metals Litigation" to just "In
Re Nurture Litigation," with a
description of the heavy
metals lower down.
Judge
Vyskocil asked about a
reference to "non-economic
damages" and proposed a change
after the response contrasted
harm at the check-out line to
physical harm.
The lead
case, for now, is Spencer v.
Nurture, Inc., 21-cv-6861
(Vyskocil)
