SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 21 –
Tyreke Williams says the
police broke into his
apartment and beat him up -
then accused him of
burglarizing his own home. He
sued.
On
November 19, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Alvin K. Hellerstein held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Hellerstein had already
dismissed the state law claims
in the case against Franklin
Vo and Kieu Vo.
Now he wants an
amended complaint consistent
with that ruling, and next
conference on Friday, December
10 at 10 am.
The case is
Williams v. City of New York
et al., 20-cv-478
