Dec 21 – MDA Manufacturing,
Inc. filed a redacted
Complaint against Mexichem
Fluor Comercials S.A. DE C.V.
in May 2020, represented by
Jones Day.
On December 21,
2020 U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Paul A. Engelmayer
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
As filed
redacted, Docket Number 2, the
Complaint did not even name
the chemical the two companies
were trading in.
Judge
Engelmayer asked what it is,
if it would be the same if he
or his law clerk bought
it.
"You
wouldn't buy it," was the
answer.
Judge
Engelmayer quipped, You don't
know my buying habits. The
case now goes forward.
